Anonymous use and local data
The typing test does not require registration. Anonymous history, personal bests, weak-key aggregates, theme, goals and daily streak are stored in local browser storage when available. You can export or clear that data from the Progress page.
Custom passages remain in the current browser page. TypingTestDaily does not store custom text, complete raw typed text or every key event, and the test remains usable when storage is blocked.
Optional services
If you consent to analytics, events may include mode, duration, difficulty and broad WPM or accuracy ranges. Analytics never includes typed text, raw keystrokes, email, certificate names or custom passages.
Optional sign-in may store email, display name, profile image and synchronized result summaries. Database features should collect only the information needed for progress, goals, challenges and deletion requests.
Control and retention
Anonymous users control local data through browser settings and the Progress page. Signed-in users may request export and deletion. Public anonymous result links can expire and result pages never display an email address.
